Privacy Statement
G Travel AS is “Data Controller” for the processing of personal data as described in this “privacy policy”. In this privacy policy, we describe the type of personal data that is stored by G Travel and how it is processed. This privacy policy applies to: G Travel’s processing of our customers’ personal data, both offline (through consultants) and online (through GTO).
G Travel has the role of Data Processor in relation to the following services we provide:
- G Track (tracking of customers at events)
- GTBI (reporting for own use and for customers)
- GTRS (Coordinating tool for special segments of our customer base (MOE customers and some larger Corp customers)). A separate Data Processor Agreement defines processes and responsibilities associated with these services.
Personal data we collect and process.
We process the following categories of personal data:
- Basic information: name, date of birth
- Contact information: address, telephone number, email address
- Account and profile information: loyalty card and program, discount codes, preferences
- Payment information: Transaction information, form of payment
- Customer history and customer engagement: active products and agreements as well as products and services you have had in the past, how much and how often they are used, status of products/services.

Personal information is collected directly from you, or it is generated in connection with your use of our services and products.
How we use the personal data
We use your personal data to fulfil our agreement with you and your employer, i.e., in order that you my use our services. The legal basis for processing personal data for this purpose is that the processing is necessary to fulfil our agreement with you and/or your employer.
We use your personal data to manage the customer relationship with you. This could be, for example, customer service (booking trips), complaint handling, error correction and refunds. In some cases, we use personal data in connection with the marketing of our products and services, through the sending of our newsletter. You have the right to have your personal data deleted without undue delay. You can therefore ask us to delete information about yourself at any time.
